I think too many people commenting in this thread think all ghosts appear as they do in hollywood movies.
Lets look at some facts form my point of view as someone who believes in the supernatural and has experienced several supernatural phenomenon.
Ok a ghost is alleged to be replaying an incident in history, be it as in this case the openening and closing of doors or be it a battle with thousands of casualties, the schematics as it were, are the same.
In life this "spirit" would have used his/her hands to open a door, why wouldnt they in the spirit world? Telekenisis is something that is often linked with supernatural behaviour, but thats simply movements of small objects not things such as doors although I guess it could be applied to doors. I have never personally experienced things such as that, nor have I experienced classic poltergeist activity.
I agree that there isnt enough evidence to say this is definately a ghost, I would also hesitate to say yes it is myself. Its certainly strange, I'd imagine the security gurads would have noticed someon in period dress wandering around......unless they were in on it. But in any case, surely this points to a sientific investigation being needed, and no I dont just mean the most haunted team as after their last series I have become quite disapointed in them.
