Trouble connecting to geocities

Anyone have any ideas on this, I can surf quite happily around most sites, however when I try to go to www.123yourspecpc.com I just get a timed out page.
Initally NTL Techie gave me a proxy address to add to my Lan settings and this fixed the problem, however Im now using a netgear RP614v2 router and cannot find a way of adding the proxy address.

NTL are confused by this also and any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Brain58 to the site.

I take it the router has the latest firmware version.

One other thing to check is to ensure you have the bypass proxy server settings for local addresses is ticked in the router config.

Proxy settings are made in your browser configuration (control panel Internet Settings), not your LAN settings (control panel Network Connections). So the method of setting web proxy configurations is the same whether you have a router or not. See http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d....html#sidestep for more.
