Confused

According to the server status page the upgade NTL are doing(mmmm will it work) is due to finish tomorrow morning and untill then they cannot make changes to any of your packages same as the recording when you call. (didnt know about this untill today but no problems with it)

Called to find out weather my payment had arrived only to be told they could not access ANY account, still no problem with this.

Got confused at what the CS adviser said next "all the systems will be back up and running on Thursday"

Can someone tell me weither its Wednesday the 3rd or Thursday the 4th because knowing my luck with NTL my payment will be lost in the system for the next 6 months

and can someone answer me this as well If I pay by DD can I choise the day the payment comes out yet?

Re: Confused

You can't choose a Direct Debit date as far as I am aware. They've never offered me a choice, but that said, I've never asked them either.

Re: Confused

yes you can change DD dates in South Central which covers Stafford.

The reason they said Thursday was because if they got everyone to call in on Wednesday it would be like 45 mins queue's

Re: Confused

I may be wrong, but I thought that the whole Idea of Direct Debit was that you could setup a payment system to suit you. I know that it certainly suits me to have my ntl: payment go out at the middle of the month, as that's when there are no other bills to be paid (ie Rent, Council Tax), and there will actually be money in my account!!!

hi and to the site ,
Thanks, but i've been here before. Forgot to change my e-mail addy, so when a PM Notification tried to get through to me, it bounced back and my old account (JonSav) got deleted.

So the new incarnation of me would like to thank you for your most gracious welcome!

Jon
