A spokesman for the firm denied rumours that there were plans to outsource the work overseas, possibly to India.

Does anyone really believe this ???

Well initially they'll probably just punt the calls over to one of the other call centres dotted about the place.

Now if they were closing one of the bigger call centres then I'd be listening out for indian accents on the calls.

Makes sense, and it was always thougth the TW call centre would defer to NTl's one in Bellshill. The call queues will just get longer......!
