Question Moving from Telewest to ntl

I am confused as to whether these are the same company or not?

I may be moving to an area that doesn't have Telewest but does have NTL. Can I transfer my telewest account to NTL or would I still be paying to the rest of my contract with telewest?

Re: Moving from Telewest to NLT

Good question (I'd be interested to hear the answer). Why don't you give Telewest a call and ask them?

Oh, to the site btw.

I think I will have to. I hate the fact that you can only have one account per property, it really messes everything up for a shared place.

Re: Moving from Telewest to ntl

Although they have rebranded as one company, effectively the systems have yet to be integrated and the two operations are still running separately.

Re: Moving from Telewest to ntl

So I would end up having to pay for a years contract with TW (i've only been with them just over a month) and pay for a new contract with NTL

Re: Moving from Telewest to ntl

As far as I am aware you will be charged the remainder of your contract. Then when your new account is set up and installed you can then get the remaining contract term charge removed.
