Virgin media’s data centre flood risk
Hi
I am writing a business proposal and need to know:
1. Is Virgin media’s data centre New Malden KT3 4PH at risk of flooding, what flood defences do they have in place.
2. Is Virgin media’s data centre Witton B6 6SP at risk of flooding, what flood defences do they have in place.
If you cannot answer this on the forum please could you email me direct on trix.sb@blueyonder.co.uk.
Thanks in advance
Stu

Hiya!
You could try emailing Neil Berkett's office. I'm sure they'd happy to help you.

Re: Virgin media’s data centre flood risk
You seem to know where the VM centres are. In which case have you looks at the environment agency's flood mapping website to see if that shows any risk?

Re: Virgin media’s data centre flood risk
The OP has made two posts since joining in 2007 which makes them somewhat of an inactive user.
So now could we please keep to the topic?

Re: Virgin media’s data centre flood risk
I don't think that's the kind of flooding he was talking about
Incidentally our school "datacentre" nearly flooded a couple days ago, some twits of contractors broke our external fibre ducts and crap started flooding into the basement

You need to get a sense of humour, q. Of course that wasn't the find of flooding the OP was talking about (The kinda gave it away!)
