Virgin to be sold?

This is from The Telegraph -

Virgin Media, the New York-listed but British-based group, has instructed Goldman Sachs to conduct a review of its content business and a sale is seen by analysts as the most likely option.

Re: Virgin to be sold?

It's only worth that much because of Branson. if I was Ricky I'd ask for a cut seens as they tricked him just to get a better price.

Re: Virgin to be sold?

I think it's trying to offload the TV side of things, as a similar story was going around early last month.

Re: Virgin to be sold?

Yeah that is true! I think its just a value like you do on your house every now and again!

---------- Post added at 15:52 ---------- Previous post was at 15:48 ----------

I wouldnt think they are selling the TV division, especially with the Samuel L Jackson on their latest adverts and billboards popping up everywhere.

Theres on thing for sure they are sure as hell throwing a **** load of money into adverts.

An outright sale of Virgin Media Television could raise £800m, analysts estimate. Five owner RTL, Sky and NBC Universal would be interested in buying it.
Why doesn't that suprise me?
