Outlook Express not receiving new emails but NTL Webmail is...

Hi, I have 4 NTL email addresses that I like to check using Microsoft Outlook Express 6. My computer broke 2 weeks ago and I had to check my NTL webmail from a friends computer using the NTL Webmail site (http://webmail.ntlworld.com).

I was pleased, my computer was broken, yet I could still view new emails from my 4 email accounts. Now that my computer is fixed, I want to continuing using Outlook Express again. The problem is, 80% of my emails are being sent to the NTL webmail site and Outlook Express is unable to receive most of my new emails.

I scan for new emails on Outlook Express and receive nothing. I then logon to
http://webmail.ntlworld.com and I see several new emails. I go back to Outlook Express and scan for new emails and nothing. I don't wish to check my email from their website.

Can anyone help?

I assume you have set up each email account correctly using the pop3 settings?

try removing the account from outlook and then re-add it using
pop.ntlworld.com
smtp.ntlworld.com
that may work

I must have if I am receiving some emails.

My incomig mail server is POP3
My incoming mail (POP3) is pop3.ntlworld.com
My outgoing mail (SMTP) is smtp.ntlworld.com

Yehm its the pop3 bit that is wrong, it should be pop.ntlworld.com, as lostandconfused said.

Ah I see, I understand. It should be ok now, I will post back if it's not.
