Returning to cable

I have just returned to cable after 18 months and the customer support has improved 100x

When I left (right after telewest become NTL) the customer support was terrible and I often waited for 20mins+ trying to resolve issues.

I can say now that I have not had to wait longer than 5 mins to talk to a human. I am really impressed so far. Not that I want to have to phone CS but hopefully all will be well from now on.

I have had problems with the service for the first week which was infuriating as it left us with no phone but it is fixed now and I have had a refund for all services. It is hard to stay mad when the CS is so helpful :]

I just hope that VM keep it up and that I have a trouble free remaining time with VM.

Re: Returning to cable

Any change is usually slow and gradual, so its hard to compare what it was like just a short time ago -18 months. As you get used to the changes as they happen

The best way to compare is, as the op has, to leave the provider and to come back later
