cancel virgin media?

hi,

i hope someone can help me as i am thinking of leaving virgin media cable and i have a question about my leaving date i hope someone may be able to answer for me?

my contract started on the 28th nov 2006, if i call on the 28th october 2007 as this will be my 12th monthly payment, or do i have to give notice from the 28th nov 2007 which is an extra month making 13 months?

i did call virgin a few times about this and they have given me differtent answers each time so i hope someone can help me here?

I think you need to call them 30 working days before you plan to leave. (Outside the 12 month contract of course)

Whatever happens I'd also send a recorded delivery letter stating you want to leave as well.

as above if you want to cancel you need to give 30 days notice, but there is a 12 month min term so would need to give notice on 28th october to be cancelled on 28th nov

Make sure you get the offer confirmed in writing or by email (services, price, duration).

you can cel from the 29th oct and then ur 30 days wil be up on the 28th nov
