Unhappy HD connection for Virgin v+

Hi All

I have just purchased a V+ Box second hand just to see what they are like.

I cannot get the box to work through its hdmi connection. I have it connected to a 37" Panosonic Viera Plasma tv. I just wondered if i have to change any settings or press any switches.

Thanks alot

Re: HD connection for Virgin v+

1st of all Youngy1.

With regards to the box you normally would have to connect it via Scart to get image on then go to settings and in settings you can change it to HDMI.

But Nick is right altough the way he has said it was a bit rude.

Unhappy Re: HD connection for Virgin v+

Thanks DocDuch

Is the settings on the page where the all channels are?

Have you any idea how many hd settings there are?

Do i plug the hdmi cable in before i change the settings or after?

Iam only looking what upscaling my box to see if the picture quality is any different.

As for nicke261192

I am sorry that you feel that way, i did not know that i was doing anything illegal i am using the box to upscale pictures and record. I have been an ntl customer for many years and are very happy with there service. I did not however want to pay £150 for a hd box with only one hd channel which you have to pay extra for. Once Virgin have sorted out there hd channels i will be buying a new box from them, as i say i am only trying this box out to see what the picture and recording are like. I am sorry if i have offended anybody.

Kind Regards

Re: HD connection for Virgin v+

As the box is the property of virgin media, purchasing it from any other source is handling stolen goods- hence illegal.

We do not permit discussion of illegal activities on this forum.
