Cable Modem for sale
Was in my local Cash Generator this afternoon when I stumbled upon this.
They're not able to do that, right?

Well if you can I have three for sale, I wonder what the Stevenage Branch of that company will give me for three. If somebody did purchase the modem they would be able to get their money back as they are not fit for purpose.

Nope they have no right to sell it.
They are in effect handling stolen goods as these modems belong to VirginMedia (NTL).

Im not surprised, Cash Converters / Cash Generators have always been a good place to rid urself of illegal items..
I once had my 35MM camera stolen, and found it in my local Cash Converters, I knew cos I had my postcode written on it with them invisible pens...
Quick trip to the police station was enough to get my camera back, but nothing happened to the theeving runt that stole it OR the shop itself...
And they say crime dont pay no more!!
