Well Done VM

My set top box locked up on Sunday. Rebooted several times each with a different result, 8888, pace, err1 etc. Tried to update its self for an hour or so.
Monday 09:00 ish called 151. (Fairly long winded IVR) connected to very polite female person who booked an engineer for Wednesday 08:00 - 12:00 (today)
10:00 ish the Engineer Arrives with new Sammy tucked under his arm, refused offer of coffee, now there's a first. Sammy connected up and all now sweetness and light. Thanks everyone.

Note to myself........Get more cans in to give to engineers as a drink to take away with them along with the Wagonwheels that they seem to like so much.

Re: Well Done VM

No. I just have quite a 'busy' green cab near to my house and I always find it pays to make friends with visiting engineers. Have had some nice informative conversations in the past, and on the only occasion I needed one the engineer was very helpful.

Re: Well Done VM

Rats... you get the busy green box.

I have two, and Ive seen one engineer in the past 12 Months there! And that was because some vandals took it apart!

Your right, though. I guess it is handy to have the Engineers as "in the back pocket".

You'll be on first name basis soon! lol
