Just thought id pop in and mention how good Virgin Media were recently with a problem with my bill. I had upgraded to the 10mb service from the 4mb service. Decided to try a new way to pay with my Credit Card. What they didnt tell me over the phone were incured admin charges. Recieved my next bill about 20 days later. Saw the charges, was not happy so rang the CS and i explained the problem. To my surprise the chap on the phone said that was fine. He credited the excess charges to my account straight away and let me set up payment via Direct Debit. Was all fixed in under 5 minutes including time to dial the number. Was the best customer service i have ever had with any company.

I'm pleased you had a good experience cakonopka.
I think the same might have happened with me when I phoned to try to resolve a billing issue. However I will wait to see my next bill before I am sure.
A great pity a simple package alteration was borked in the first place though.
