Huge Thanks To VM

Just wanted to say that it aint all bad on the VM front. After having being wrongly billed again i dug my heels in on this one and told VM exactly what they could do with there services, this was only after gettiing absolutely no where on the phone with them and i do mean nowhere. So i sent them my intention to quit in a registered letter explaining the whys and wheres 4 days later i receive a letter from VM offering deepest applogies and it would be looked into but this could take up to 15 days. 2 days later i receive a phone call from VM To explain they had looked into it for me, and discovered that i had been overcharged by £145.00 over a few months and it would be credited to my account. The chap on the phone was most helpfull courteous and abvove all knew his job and was a real credit to the company. So a great big thanks to VM for sorting this one out they have just restored my faith in them

Re: Huge Thanks To VM

Ha! That's what happened to me. It took months to sort it out and I've just had my last free month out of 3 due to the amount of credit I had. My bills were roughly £130 each month when I was supposed to be on the VIP pack.

Let me guess Doofy - are you ex-ntl?

Re: Huge Thanks To VM

the contact given to me inadvertantly has come up top trumps everytime, and is a credit to virgin - main thing being: he listens - he may think im talking utter crap, but he listens.

I find thats all you need , someone WILLING to listen

i'd happily buy the guy a pint if i was to bump into him

Mainly due to the fact that whatever happened to you, happened to me. I don't think they could get their heads (or billing system) around the VIP pack pricing. I was getting a DD taken out for £37 and then later in the month, it was being charged again in the £85 VIP bill plus other bits and bobs.

Hopefully, it will now stay correct.

Selective vision? Did you miss those bits?

Which part of the concept "It shouldn't happen in the first place" don't you understand?

Do I smell a VM PR Troll?

Oh , we just got got incorrectly billed..I'm a VM customer, want to call me a "whinger"? Consider your answer carefully.

Enough - if this thread turns into what I think might turn into, it will close and people responsible for its closure, will be issued infraction penalties.
