Virtual Virgin
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/money/c...name_page.html
"11/04/2007 VIRGIN boss Sir Richard Branson is hoping to shake up the £15billion-a-year PC games industry by launching a website for cheap and speedy downloads.
Dubbed the "iGames" of the PC world, the site will allow users to try out computer games for a small fee instead of shelling out £30 to buy them."
"
"It gives us the opportunity to do for PC games what iTunes has done for music," said Branson.

Re: Virtual Virgin
Its unclear... It might be another fileplanet-type site without a free subscription, or it could be games that could be rented , with DRM built in (more than just a CD check, which can be easily removed normally)

Re: Virtual Virgin
Sounds like it could be similar to any one of a number of Games sites, or it could be a "Steam" clone.

What ever it is. there's no doubt Ricky will have another over the top, over hyped bet you can't wait for the launch date. and the end result will be just as dissapointing as the previous ones.

Because someone has an opinion. it doesn't automatically make them a troll. Don't trolls reside on usenet?
