No Signal

I have been experiencing some signal dropouts recently, wondered if anyone has had the same experience? Had my TV Drive installed in January and following some initial problems with corrupt recordings things have settled down very well. The box seems to have speeded up and all my recordings are as they should be. However, i noticed last week that i started losing the picture, but the sound was OK. All i got was a black screen with NO SIGNAL flashing up and moving around the screen. Within a few seconds it went back to normal. The frequency of this occuring has increased and for longer periods of time. Last Friday the only way i managed to recapture the picture was by re-booting the box. On Monday night the wife gave up, eventually only BBC1 and BBC 2 had a picture, the rest of the service gave the black screen I am connecting directly with an HDMI lead which is untouched, the Tv being on the wall. I view my VCR/DVD player via scart which appears to be unaffected. Before i start ringing up and asking some questions i thought would see if anyone here had any ideas. I have to say i have had some excellent advice from here in the past and the knowledge base is vastly superior to any of the NTL engineers i have met!

many thanks in anticipation

Re: No Signal

Your symptoms suggest to me a signal level issue. Something that would need verification by faults and probably an engineer.
