vm redundancys in pipeline

i was informed today [unoficialy] by a source that has proved to be 100% acurate in the past that there will be a 10% reduction in networks staffing thru redundancy .starting late oct/early nov [this source is a vm employee and has allways been 100%bang on right] he said quote"all this stuff your going thru over contracts ts and cs sat working etc is the tip of the iceburg the want rid of 10% of you."

Exclamation Re: vm redundancys in pipeline

I really hope this time your insider is wrong. I'm almost thru the interview stages to join VM and it would be a sad Xmass for some if your insider is right again.

But fingers crossed he's wrong.

Re: vm redundancys in pipeline

Tut, the worries of working Sundays...would be a lot easier if cs ever did work on a Sunday, I'd get a lot less grief in faults - considering we HAVE to work Sundays.

It wouldn't bother me if they made me redundant, I'm getting a bit tired of the job!

Question Re: vm redundancys in pipeline

Has it not changed at all since VM are involved?

the only thing thats changed is the uniform thats not me being cynical thats the absolute truth this company is still in the grip of draconian management and untill there gone we aint going anywhere .the staf view vm as our last chance to put things right .but management will not budge ,the virgin ethos would deminish there controle ,and there power so prognosis vm's going the same way as ntl ..pity.we all thought we had the chance to create something realy special.
