Loss of channels on VM Langley platform

Virgin Media customers on the old ntl Langley platform woke up this morning to find a major fault had knocked out their movies, sports and Disney channels.
There is no word from VM on what the cause may be but it is speculated that the network that feeds the channels to Langley (from Bromley) may be at fault. The current estimated fix time from VM is 1pm today.
