Telewest Release 2004 Q4 Results

Telewest have released their fourth Quarter results for 2004. Total Net loss narrowed £176 million during 2004, this is due to a surge in broadband internet customers and effective cost cuts.
A total of 284,000 new customers were added in 2004, a record 91,000 new customers in Q4.
Telewest now has 700,000 Broadband customers.
Also, Telewest’s 256K broadband speed tier looks set to double to 512K at no extra cost, whilst in the second half of 2005, Telewest is to trial 10Mbit.
